Rivae Balkin-Kliman graduated from UNT in 2008 with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies; during her time at UNT, she worked in the Jewish and Israel Studies office. She is a dedicated member of the DFW community, so much so that she was honored by the Bnai Zion Foundation this year. The past PJ Library Coordinator at the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, Rivae also worked or volunteered at Solomon Schechter, the JCC, Camp Chai, Congregation Beth Torah, IVOLUNTEER, DATA, Moshie House, Hadassah, and Makom. She is now the Volunteer Coordinator at The Legacy Senior Communities.
