The UNT Jewish and Israel Studies Program presents a free public talk by

GIL HOFFMAN
Chief political correspondent and analyst for The Jerusalem Post

"RED STATES, BLUE STATES, AND THE JEWISH STATE: An insider's look at America's impact on the future of Israel and the wider Middle East"

The talk will focus on the role of the U.S. as the leader of the free world and how the U.S. affects the future of Israel and its neighbors - the Palestinians, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and farther away, ominously, Iran. The talk will not shy away from the personal impact of the current administrations in Washington and Jerusalem and chances for war and peace in the Middle East. Hoffman promises reasons for optimism in the face of many challenges.
