"Sixteenth Annual Israel Fair"

On April 13th, Hillels of North Texas presented their "Sixteenth Annual Israel Fair". People came out to celebrate the culture of Israel and the Jewish people. There was food from Beiruit Mediterranean Grill, as well as free t-shirts for anyone who attended. New this year they had Israeli dancing, and kosher dog treats. The Jewish and Israel Studies Program had a very special table. "Israel in the Public Square: American University Culture and the Image of Israel" A talk by Dr. Steven Bayme.

On March 29th, Director of the William Petschek Contemporary Jewish Life Department at the American Jewish Committee, Dr. Steven Bayme, gave a fantastic and interesting talk about the image of Israel. More than fifty people attended the event.

"European Jews, Israel, and Antisemitism" a talk by Professor Michael Brennen.

"Anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitism in the Middle East: The Mix of European and Islamist Sources." a talk by Professor Jeffrey Herf.

"The Laundering of Anti-Semitism under Universal Public Values." a talk by Professor Irwin Cotler.

Screening of the movie "School Ties"

"The Jewish Wife", a short play directed by Dr. Andrew Harris.
